The RG-RSR77-X series core service routers are designed by Ruijie Networks to meet the demands of cloud architecture and services for enterprise networks. They are an upgrade of the widely-used RG-RSR77 series, offering high performance and ample redundancy for future service growth over the next 5-10 years.

6. Configuration Guide #

The configuration process for the RG-RSR77-X series devices is as follows:

  1. Chassis, Management Engine, and Switch Fabric Board:
    Start by selecting the chassis, management engine, and switch fabric board. To ensure redundancy, it’s recommended to choose two management engines and two switch fabric boards.
  2. Power Modules:
    Choose the power modules according to the power requirements of the device. At least one power module is required.
  3. Service and Interface Cards:
    Select the service and interface cards based on specific business requirements.
