The HPE SN6500B Fibre Channel switch provides market-leading 16 Gb Fibre Channel technology and features to support highly virtualised environments and meet the needs of hyperscale private cloud storage environments. Designed for maximum flexibility and investment protection, the SN6500B switch can be configured with 48, 72 or 96 ports and supports 4, 8 or 16 Gbps speeds in an efficiently designed 2U package. It also offers a simplified deployment process and point-and-click user interface, making it powerful and easy to use. The SN6500B switch is ideally suited for mid-sized to large organisations that require a scalable, high-availability solution that promotes consolidation and flexibility to meet rapidly evolving storage needs.

Power Pack+ includes additional software: Fabric Vision, , ISL Trunking and Extended Fabric. Power Pack+ software provides the SAN administrator with the necessary tools to monitor the health and performance of the network, while also ensuring the highest levels of security, scalability and manageability.
