Overview
The HPE Storage Fibre Channel Switch C-Series SN6620C (MDS 9148T) is a next-generation, 48-port, 32Gbps Fibre Channel switch that delivers high-speed Fibre Channel connectivity from the server rack to the SAN core. It supports small, medium and large enterprises that are rapidly deploying cloud-class applications, offering the benefits of greater bandwidth, scale and consolidation. The switch allows for a seamless transition to Fibre Channel Non-Volatile Memory Express (FC-NVMe) workloads wherever available, without the need for any hardware upgrades in the SAN. For flexibility, the HPE SN6620C Fibre Channel switch is scalable from 24 to 48 ports. In addition, investing in this switch for low-speed (8 or 16 Gbps) server racks gives you the flexibility to upgrade to 32 Gbps performance in the future.
The HPE Storage Fibre Channel Switch C-Series SN6620C can be configured, managed, monitored, and troubleshooted using Cisco Data Centre Network Manager (DCNM), which now manages the entire Cisco Data Centre product suite. It is powered by the C-Series MDS 9000 NX-OS software, which includes storage networking features and functionality, and works in conjunction with the C-Series SN8500C/SN8700C (MDS 9700) family of multilayer guides, the C-Series SN6610C (MDS 9132T) multilayer fabric switch, the C-Series SN6010C (MDS 9148S) multilayer fabric switch, and the C-Series SN6630C (MDS 9148S) multilayer fabric switch. Series SN6630C (MDS 9396T) Multilayer Fabric Switch, Series C SN6710C (MDS 9124V) Multilayer Fabric Switch, Series C SN6720C (MDS 9148V) Multilayer Fabric Switch, and Series C SN6640C (MDS 9220i) Multiservice Fabric Switch are compatible to provide transparent, end-to-end end-to-end in core-edge deployment of service delivery in core edge deployments.

HPE SN6620C 8-Port Upgrade E-LTU
The flexibility of the HPE Storage Fibre Channel Switch C-series SN6620C is provided by the C-series SN6620C 8-port 32Gb FC Upgrade license, which allows the addition of eight 32-Gbps ports.
HPE SN6000C Data Center Network Manager E-LTU
The “Standard” Cisco Data Center Network Manager (Essentials Edition) software that is included at no charge with the SN6620C Switch provides basic switch configuration and troubleshooting capabilities. The HPE C-series Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) License (for the SN6000C Fabric Switches) extends Cisco Data Center Network Manager by advanced features such as historical performance data collection for network traffic hot-spot analysis, centralized management services and advanced application integration. By default, a 30-day trial license (with advanced features) is enabled on the switch. Customers must purchase the HPE SN6000C DCNM E-LTU license (server-based or switch-based license) to continue to utilize the advanced DCNM features.
