Flexible networking capabilities
- The S1700 switch provides 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet electrical interfaces, 1000BASE-X Ethernet optical interfaces, and 10GE SFP+ Ethernet optical interfaces.
- The S200 switch provides 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet electrical interfaces and 1000BASE-X Ethernet optical interfaces.
- For Gigabit fiber connection, the switch provides pluggable SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) type optical modules. For 10 Gigabit fiber connection, the switch provides pluggable SFP+ (Small Form-Factor Pluggable plus) type optical modules. The fiber length can be flexibly selected according to the user’s requirements for transmission distance.
- The S200 and S1700 managed switches support protocols such as STP, RSTP, and MSTP to eliminate loops and provide loop protection.
Rich security access mechanism
- The S200 and S1700 managed switches support port-based MAC filtering to prevent hackers from attacking user devices or networks through MAC addresses.
- S200 and S1700 managed switches support RADIUS authentication, 802.1x authentication, and MAC address authentication to prevent illegal users from accessing the network.
- The S200 and S1700 fully managed switches also support a comprehensive DHCP Snooping function, which prevents common network security threats such as IP message forgery, man-in-the-middle attacks, and private connection of DHCP servers by monitoring the MAC/IP address, lease period, VLANID, interface, and other information of the access user, thereby ensuring network access security.
Green energy-saving design
- Some S1700 models use natural heat dissipation to save fan power consumption and eliminate noise pollution.
- When no device connected to the opposite end of the service port is detected, that is, the port is idle, it enters power saving mode.
- The use of low-power chips and intelligent device management system not only improves system performance but also reduces the power consumption of the entire machine.
Advanced lightning protection technology
The patented built-in lightning protection technology can effectively resist overvoltage caused by induced lightning strikes. In harsh application environments, even in scenarios where effective grounding cannot be achieved, it can also greatly reduce the lightning damage rate of equipment.
